More beautiful than ugly

A couple of weeks ago I shared some of my piece “A Million Pieces of Ugly.” Here is a little more of it.

I love everyone, but I don’t have many people in my close circle. I am a quite the recluse at times. Those that are in my circle, are precious. They are to me like the sun beams you see pouring across the sky at dawn. This is how I see them – bright, warming and able to change your whole day.

My friend, my dear friend about whom I wrote this piece does not however see himself in the same flattering light. I pray that one day that changes!
